- Intro: In some cases, wounds may require professional assistance. When wounds are non-healing, infected, or deep we recommend a visit to urgent care or contacting your primary care physician. Here are some signs that can help you determine if it’s time to seek help with your wound.
- Infection: If untreated, wounds with infection can lead to serious health complications like sepsis. Oftentimes, the body will respond to infection with inflammation, which can cause damage to organs and tissue, and in some cases death. Here are some signs of infection to be aware of:
- An odor is coming from wound
- Delirium or confusion
- Increased drainage from wound, green, yellow, or creamy
- Pink discoloration around wound or streaks leading away from wound
- Severe pain
- Size of wound has increased

Do you provide post-surgical wound care?
Yes, we do provide post-surgical wound care and will work with you and your other health care providers to determine the best treatment plan.
Do you provide wound care in assisted living or nursing homes?
Yes, our company began as a mobile wound care clinic that treated patients in assisted living facilities and nursing homes. If we are not currently working with your facility, we are happy to work with you and the staff to establish a relationship.
Do you communicate with referring physicians?
Yes, we pride ourselves on collaborating and communicating with any and all physicians. This allows us to create the best treatment plan for you.
Canceling or rescheduling an appointment?
What should I do if my wound condition changes between treatments?
If you find that the condition of your wound is deteriorating between visits, please contact us immediately.
